The PLA degradable plastics granulator features a twin-screw design with a capacity ranging from 40 to 600 kg/h. On the other hand, the PHA degradable plastics granulator and the inorganic degradable plastics granulator utilize an internal mixing single screw series with high capacities.
PLA, a biobased plastic with a minimal carbon footprint, is commonly used in packaging, food serviceware, and increasingly in more demanding applications in automotive, electronics, and textiles. High-quality lactides-based PLA exhibits improved heat resistance, making High Heat PLA suitable for producing biodegradable films and bags, capable of withstanding temperatures of 100 – 140°C.
